Independent project
Decomp Ledger is an independent, non-commercial fan project that documents public software preservation and reverse engineering efforts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Nintendo, Sony, Sega, Microsoft or any other game developer, publisher or platform holder.
What this site hosts
This site publishes facts about projects: names, statuses, progress figures and links. It links only to publicly accessible repositories and project websites. It does not host, distribute or link to ROMs, disc images, game assets, executables or copyrighted source code.
Using decompilation projects
Decompilation projects generally require a legally obtained copy of the original game, supplied by the user, to build or run. Whether a given use is lawful depends on the laws of your country. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Accuracy
Progress figures are read automatically from public sources such as decomp.dev, progress.deco.mp, progress badges and repository data. They can be late, incomplete or wrong. Entries marked Unverified have not been measured or confirmed.
Trademarks
Game titles, company names and platform names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify the games a project relates to. No logos, box art or screenshots are used.
